Fashion on the Hudson III

On Saturday, July 16, Harlem, USA received a treat in the form of "walking"!  An eclectic mix of models showed off an eclectic mix of fashions from designers hailing from the NYC area, Washington, DC, and North Carolina.  In its third year of production, Sofia Davis of Beauty Television & Entertainment (BTE TV) presented an outdoor showing of designs suitable for the young and the young at heart.

The featured designs included fascinating avant-garde pieces and "Sunday Morning Best" gear.  Some of the designers whose work were presented included:  Thomas LaVone and Mr. Witherspoon, whose "Black Action FIgure Collection" was the talk of the show.  A full figured collection was presented by Tru Diva Designs.  Enyani Kids Couture offered designs for the younger set, while Street M.O.D.E. offered designs for the bold set.  Lingerie, hats, footwear, and accesories also had their place in creating a truly diverse and spectacular feast of fashion.

The audience also received musical treats from, Jamie Knight part of Orpheus/Universal Music Group and R.E.A.L. Muzic Luvers.  Dance segments were performed by The Belly Jazz Dolls – part of the Alvin Ailey extension fitness group and The Uptown Dance Academy.
