Darius Saint Wobil presented his 2012 Spring/Summer Collection at the fabulous Studio450 during New York Fashion Week. Saint Wobil's passion for design is apparent in this presentation of style that was certainly not short on drama. From head to toe, each female model was impeccably styled in colors, florals, and textures. The men's styles were playful and sexy; clad in shoes designed by Mr. John Ashford.

September 2011 Quarterly SuccessNet
hosted by the Legendary George C. Fraser
On Thursday, September 1, 2011, the SuccessNet hosted by George C. Fraser in partnership with the 1209Enterprise featured Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Essence Magazine and Founder of National Cares Mentoring Movement, Susan L. Taylor. Ms. Taylor is a fourth generation entrepreneur and the first and only African-American woman recipient of the Henry Johnson Fisher Award bestowed by the Association of Magazine Media (formerly Magazine Publishers of America). Ms. Taylor’s lecture focused on the power of collective work and responsibility. She illustrated the power of this concept by illustrating how the Haitian’s defeated Napolean’s Army, the British Navy, and the Spanish fleet during the Haitian revolution.
Part spiritual revival, part business network, SuccessNet is hosted quarterly by George C. Fraser and the 1209Enterprise and is designed to bring affordable self development programming to entrepreneurs and those with an entrepreneurial spirit. Held at the historic Alhambra Ballroom in Harlem, NY, each event features a networking session and various vendors. This quarter’s vendors included: Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry, Missteriousbyjewel, Moetleh Cards & Messages, ŌNI-BODI, and Selah Monet Boutique.
