We Had It Coming
Designer Darius St. Wobil presented another spectacular showing for New York Fashion Week. Entitled “BENT BUT NEVER BROKEN: The Metaphor of Beauty”, the fashion show was held at the Stepping Out Studios on the Lower West Side of Manhattan. The catwalk featured exquisitely elegant designs from the color palettes of white, ivory, cream, red, gold, and green.
Reminiscent of 1001 Arabian Nights, models strutted down the runway to the tune of Cell Block Tango from the famous Broadway musical, Chicago. For fall 2012, St. Wobil chose to emphasize tailor-made clothing, including the Cady jacket, wearable couture pieces, and a sneak peek at the upcoming bridal collection.
Sponsors for the event included, B2B Management, Eternal Beauty of New York, Absolute Events by Corrine, and Royale Amethyst Invitations. Darius St. Wobil is truly a designer to watch.
